Peter’s Pence Collection: A Call to Share God’s Mercy
The annual Peter’s Pence Collection, held around the world in late June, is a special opportunity for Catholics to support the Holy Father’s mission of charity. Rooted in the tradition of solidarity with the Pope, the collection helps fund the charitable works of the Vatican and provides direct aid to those suffering from war, oppression, natural disaster, and poverty.
By contributing to Peter’s Pence, the faithful unite with the Holy See in bringing the compassion of Christ to those most in need. Let us prayerfully consider offering our support and standing in communion with Pope Francis in his outreach to the vulnerable and marginalized across the globe.
