A Beacon in Darkness

Luminous Radio,  is the first multilingual Catholic online radio in India, dedicated to sharing the light of Christ in a world that often walks in darkness.

Broadcasting 24/7 in English, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Urdu Luminous Radio serves as a vibrant digital platform for evangelization, catechesis, and spiritual renewal.

This ministry was inspired by the prophetic call of St. John Paul II to embrace modern media in proclaiming the Gospel and to carry out the mission of the New Evangelization. In response, Luminous Radio strives to be a beacon in darkness, illuminating hearts with the truth, love, and hope of Jesus Christ.

Luminous Radio was blessed and dedicated by His Grace Archbishop Soosa Pakiam M. during the Christmas Vigil Mass on December 25, 2011, and he continues to serve as the Patron of this mission. His blessing marked the beginning of a spiritual journey that reaches across languages, cultures, and borders.

Our programming includes daily Holy Mass, Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Gospel reflections, spiritual talks, inspiring testimonies, and live coverage of Papal events and major liturgical celebrations. We bring Catholic content directly to the listener—whether at home, in the car, or on the move, offering light, guidance, and grace.

At the heart of Luminous Radio is a deep and enduring mission:
